Founder Story
Hi, I’m Annalise.
I am the founder of Womb Space - a place created to hold women through the raw and tender experience of pregnancy and infant loss. My work is deeply personal. In recent years, I’ve walked through a miscarriage, the heartbreaking loss of twins at 15 weeks, and the premature birth and passing of my beautiful son, Leo, who lived for five precious weeks in the NICU. His life, and the love he brought into ours, changed me forever.
Through grief, I discovered the quiet power of ritual, storytelling, and community. These became my lifelines - helping me find moments of grounding, honour my babies, and keep moving forward when the world felt impossibly heavy. I built Womb Space to offer other women what I needed most: intentional gifts and resources that acknowledge their loss, remind them they are not alone, and support them in gently returning to their body, mind, and spirit.
I believe grief deserves to be witnessed, and that women deserve to feel held in their hardest moments. Womb Space is one small part of the village - created with love, compassion, and the hope that no woman has to carry this kind of loss in silence.
